Yeah, this brat can cook...

Chicken in Green Curry (Thai style) is something I learned to cook from my recent trip to Bangkok.

Heat Quencher

At last, the later weeks of May made us feel the presence of summer, so off we went to Club Manila East for a swim.

The Ocean Wave pool was fantastic but the kiddie pool and huge colorful umbrella fountains won the heart of the kids.

No horsing around...

He seems to be deep in thoughts as he waits for his turn to earn Php300 for a one-hour ride around Wright Park.

The enterprising knows no boundaries

Burnham Park in Baguio is most popular for the boat ride in its man-made lagoon. For Php100, enjoy one hour of rowing until your arms get stiff and you get hungry.

But there's no need to park the boat to grab some snacks...

Alter Ego?

These statues of the Buddha watch over the whole Isdaan property in Gerona, Tarlac. Once inside the resort, you would feel you're somewhere in Thailand.

One at a time...

It is a local custom to drop coins into a long line of small metal containers around the Buddha to merit blessings of good health and prosperity...

Yeah, we need a ticket!

I dont know why there is a need to emphasize three times that ticket must be bought to enter Wat Pho.

By the way, Wat Pho is home to the famous Reclining Buddah.

The sky is on fire...

My little cousin, Gelai, perhaps confused of all the commotions on her 1st birthday :-)

The Guitarist

She sits all day and night, perhaps unnoticed, at an intersection in Roponggi...

Blue

This is outside Tokyo Eki fronting Yaesu at around 11pm and with a temperature of about 3 degrees Centigrade.

Winter and blue lights make a lovely combination, don't you think?

It's hard not to see L.O.V.E.

How can anyone miss LOVE in Shinjuku a week before Valentines?

Minamimachida

I braved the cold and the 1.5-hour train ride just to shop at this outlet yard in a suburb outside Tokyo.

Sunset After The Harvest

We went to a wake in San Miguel, Bulacan and going back to Manila, we passed through these fields.

All the farmers have called it a day, and the sun glimmers as it bids adieu as if saying, 'See you all tomorrow'.

Rag Doll

During our photoshoot trip in Intramuros, this little girl approached me and asked for her pictures to be taken.

She said she wants to be a model someday...
