Hibiscus, known in the Philippines as Gumamela, is popular among kids as an ingredient in making bubbles. Seeing a gumamela flower reminds me so much of my childhood.

Sunset After The Harvest

We went to a wake in San Miguel, Bulacan and going back to Manila, we passed through these fields.

All the farmers have called it a day, and the sun glimmers as it bids adieu as if saying, 'See you all tomorrow'.
